-
- Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) is a state program that brings the benefits of solar energy to income-eligible households, nonprofit organizations, and public facilities. The Illinois Climate Bank has provided an $11 million grant to the Illinois Power Agency, funded by congressionally approved and lawfully awarded funds from U.S. EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund Solar For All program, to supplement the incentives provided by the Illinois Solar for All Community Solar program.
- The ILSFA Community Solar program provides incentives for the construction of Community Solar projects. Community Solar allows income-eligible homeowners and renters to benefit from solar energy savings without installing solar panels on their property. Residents subscribe to a community solar project in their utility area, built by qualified solar companies called Approved Vendors. Participants are guaranteed to see savings on their energy bills.
